The rules we set ourselves
There is no weekly plan.
Never has been, never will be. The €8.99-a-week plans in this category cost €467 a year, and they exist to be misread. Zukan has a monthly price and a yearly price, and that is the whole grid.
The yearly plan is the honest one, so we say so.
Twelve months of the monthly plan is €71.88. The yearly plan is €39.99. Both are on this page at the same size.
The trial is three days and it is real.
Three days free on the yearly plan, cancellable throughout, and you are told the date it converts before you start it.
The close button is there immediately.
No delay, no greyed-out cross, no dismissal hidden behind a second screen.
Cancelling is two taps.
Settings → Manage subscription, which opens Apple or Google directly. We cannot stall you, because the billing was never ours to stall.
Free features stay free.
Nothing currently in the free tier will be moved behind the paywall later. Two apps in this category did exactly that and their reviews have not recovered.
